About CueCut Teleprompter
Look people in the eye on camera — without memorising a word.
Why I built it
I’m Hemant. I record short videos and spend a lot of time on video calls. Like most people, I kept glancing down at my notes — and viewers can always tell. Professional teleprompters solve this for studio cameras, but not for the webcam on your laptop.
So I built CueCut Teleprompter. Your script scrolls in a narrow strip right under your webcam, so your eyes stay on the lens while you read. It listens as you speak, and waits when you pause.
Ways to use it
🎥 Record a video
Read your script and look straight at the camera. If you stumble, just say the line again — CueCut marks the mistake so you can cut it with one click. Then it adds captions in your script’s own words (names, spelling and punctuation as you wrote them) and exports for Reels, Shorts, TikTok and LinkedIn.
🎤 Live on a call
Giving a talk, a pitch or an interview on Zoom, Meet or Teams? CueCut floats your script over the call, right under your webcam. Nothing is recorded — your call app handles the video as usual.
🎙️ Podcasts
Up to four people can record together over a call. Each person reads their own lines under their own camera and records in full quality.
Private by design
CueCut runs entirely in your browser. Your videos stay on your computer and are never uploaded, and there’s no account to create.
One thing to know: in Chrome and Edge, “Follow my voice” uses the browser’s speech recognition, which is processed by Google or Microsoft. If you’d rather keep everything on your computer, there’s a private on-device option. Privacy policy
Your language
CueCut follows your voice in many languages, including English, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic and Japanese. It notices the language of your script and listens for it.
Pricing
CueCut is free to use. Free recordings are up to 15 minutes, Live runs up to 30 minutes at a time, and exported videos carry a small CueCut mark. Pro and Studio remove the limits for a one-time payment — no subscription, with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
